Everybody is different so healing times can vary, but usually your tattoo will be mostly healed in about 4-6 weeks. It should be completely healed at around 8 weeks.
If you require a second session on your tattoo, you will have to wait at least 4 weeks before we can tattoo in that area again unless you are doing a multi-day session.
Second skin is a product that can be used to cover your tattoo after it's completed as part of the healing process. It is usually a clear adhesive film that is placed over the tattoo, forming a seal around the tattoo and keeping all the bodily fluids from your tattoo contained in the one area. Second skin helps protect the tattoo and can lead to a quicker healing process for some people.
If you have any allergies to adhesives it is recommended you do not use second skin.
If you would like to use second skin to heal your tattoo, please let me know at your appointment!
(Second skin is not recommended for people who have an allergy to adhesives or sensitive skin, a patch test can be done beforehand to ensure there is no reaction when placed over the tattooed area)
The second skin will be applied at the end of your appointment. You will be told to leave it on for 3-4 days, however if the seal on it breaks at any point during that time, remove it immediately.
To remove the second skin, jump in the shower and wet the area. Pick the corner closest to you and begin to peel the second skin off by pulling it towards you, this method reduces the amount of adhesive that can be left behind.
Once you have removed the second skin, follow the aftercare process as normal!

Yes! If you're looking to get a cover-up or rework I would recommend booking a free consultation with me so we can discuss your ideas and work through the design process together to ensure you get the best tattoo possible.
If you're unable to do a consultation and would like a quote or would like to know if a tattoo can be covered, please fill out my booking form here! Please make sure to include clear photos of the tattoo you would like covered and any ideas you may have for the cover-up tattoo.
Possibly! Most of the time I will not finish another artists piece, however under certain circumstances I can complete the tattoo for you. Please contact me directly if you would like to discuss getting your unfinished piece completed.
Unfortunately not! If you are pregnant or breastfeeding I will not be able to tattoo you.
There is not enough research available to suggest it is safe to tattoo someone that is pregnant or breastfeeding, therefore I do not wish to risk the health of my clients.
If you have an appointment scheduled and will be unable to attend due to being pregnant, please contact me immediately to reschedule!
Yes! My standard minimum charge for custom work is $150, this is usually for small, simple tattoos that take an hour or less.
For those on a budget though, I do have some pre-drawn designs that are under this minimum charge. Check them out here!
I typically do not charge per hour, instead I quote each piece based on a variety of factors, these include; the size of the design, the placement on your body and the overall time required to draw and tattoo your piece.
If you are looking to book in for a set amount of time though, I do offer half-day and full day sessions at a set price, check out my pricing guide for more information!
I always take a deposit when booking a tattoo to ensure that both my time and commitment are respected by my client.
Designing a custom piece can sometimes involve hours upon hours of preparation, from sketching unique artwork to gathering references and refining details. Taking a deposit is a way of confirming that you are serious about your appointment, which helps me avoid last-minute cancellations or no-shows that could leave gaps in my schedule and result in lost income.
Please note, your appointment is not confirmed and no designs will be started without a paid deposit.
This policy allows me to dedicate myself to your tattoo to ensure you get the best experience and piece possible. If you'd like more information on my polices, click here!
